The platform comprises a user interface, a report component, a database, a test execution engine and a test script adapter, wherein the user interface conducts data interaction with the database and the test execution engine and transmits test content input by a user to the test execution engine; the database conducts data interaction with the user interface, the report component and the test execution engine; the report component is driven by the test execution engine to generate a report; the test execution engine is connected with the report component and the test script adapter and used for loading, executing, scheduling and controlling test scripts; the test script adapter is used for achieving script adaptation to make the test execution engine call the test scripts. According to the automated test platform, under the support of VISA instrument driving packaging and script adaption, test measurement and control over various electronic test and measurement instruments such as instrument spectrum analyzers, power meters, signal generators and vector network analyzers can be completed, and the automated test platform is universal.
