Abstract

The invention discloses an error correction method and a gas meter, and relates to the field of gas meters. The error correction method comprises the steps that an actual flow interval in which gas flow data measured by the gas meter is located is determined, wherein the actual flow interval is one of the multiple preset flow intervals, each preset flow interval corresponds to a preset error correlation value, and the gas flow data is corrected according to the corresponding error correction value of the actual flow interval. According to the error correction method, corresponding correction of the gas flow data in different actual flow intervals is conducted, so that the error correction method has higher measuring accuracy. According to the gas meter, the gas meter has higher measuring accuracy due to the fact that the error correction method is adopted to conduct corresponding correction on the gas flow data located in different actual flow intervals.
