The mechanism also comprises a rotation varifocal frame (2), an upper rotation shaft (3), a lower rotation shaft (4), a motor driving device (5), a varifocal mirror group (6), a drive gear pair (7), a mechanical limiting device (8), a photoelectric sensor (9) and a locking device (10). Firstly the locking device (10) is released and then the motor driving device (5) drives the varifocal mirror group (6) to rotate to cut in and out throughgear driving. When the varifocal mirror group (6) is close to the target position, the photoelectric limiting device is started to emit a signal to control the motor to move at a low speed. The mechanical limiting device (8) is installed at the target point, and the locking device (10) is started when the motor reaches the target point. High precision of positioning and high stability of the system can be realized through the photoelectric switch, the electromagnet and the mechanical limiting switch so that the problems of large volume occupation and poor positioning stability of the conventional varifocal mechanism can be solved.
