The invention provides a code rate control method of video encoding, electronic equipment and a storage medium. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring currently collected video data, anddetermining the current collection frame rate of the video data; comparing the current collection frame rate with the collection frame rate of the last time slot; and adjusting the code rate for encoding the video data if the current collection frame rate is different from the collection frame rate of the last time slot. By analyzing the change of the current collection frame rate and the collection frame rate of the last time slot, the code rate is adjusted according to the change situation of the current collection frame rate so as to adjust the data size transmitted in the unit time, the packet loss rate of the video data can be adjusted, and the video effect lagging phenomenon is avoided.
