Abstract

A boundary detection system for a vehicle includes a controller programmed to generate an alarm in response to sensing the presence of persons in a first area extending from the vehicle. The system also includes a wireless receiver configured to receive signals transmitted by the nomadic device in a second area around the vehicle.
