The rolling ball type flowmeter has the advantages thatthe photoelectric doors measure the speed of the small ball, and the speed measuring is unaffected by medium temperature, pressure and density; due to the fact that the annular structure design is adopted, occupied length in the pipeline direction is reduced; the flowmeter is unlimited by front and rear straight pipelines; due to the fact that the flowmeter does not depend on gravity and buoyance,the flowmeter can be placed horizontally, limitation of vertical connection is avoided, and mounting convenience is increased; the signals of the photoelectric doors are pulse signals, so that measuring reliability and accuracy are increased as compared with other signals; compared with other speed type flowmeters, the flowmeter is small in pressure loss.
