Abstract

The invention discloses a method and system for establishing a management channel. The method comprises the following steps: sending the own internet protocol IP address and openflow protocol port number of the controller to far-end access network equipment through an established netconf channel after the netconf connection is established between the controller and the far-end access network equipment; and enabling the far-end access network equipment to establish openflow channel connection with the controller after receiving the IP address and the openflow protocol port number of the controller. Through the method disclosed by the embodiment of the invention, the complexity of establishing the management channel is reduced, and the channel loop of the management channel is avoided.
