Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a system for identifying the blocking condition of a base station antenna. The method for identifying the blocking situation of the base station antenna comprisesthe following steps: acquiring a plurality of sampling points of different reference signal receiving power intervals in a near point area of the base station antenna from LTE-MR data measured for a base station cell; determining the ratio of each sampling point to the sum of the plurality of sampling points according to the plurality of sampling points, and determining a first variance of the ratio of the plurality of sampling points; selecting a sampling point subset from the plurality of sampling points according to the first variance, and determining a second variance of reference signal receiving power corresponding each sampling point in the sampling point subset; and comparing the second variance with a threshold to determine whether the base station antenna is blocked or not.
