Abstract

Provided is a dust cover and a sealing structure which have improved sealing performance by stabilizing the position of a seal section. A seal section (130) is provided with: an inner peripheral sealpart (131) slidable with respect to the outer peripheral surface of a shaft part (310); a dust lip part (132) slidable with respect to an end surface of a first flange part (340); and an auxiliary dust lip part (133) provided to the radially inner side from the dust lip part (132). The auxiliary dust lip part (133) is configured to be slidable with respect to a curved surface (310a) which connectsthe shaft part (310) to the first flange part (340).

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a dust cover and a sealing structure used for ball joints equipped in various devices such as vehicles. Background technique [0002] Conventionally, dust covers are used on ball joints installed in various devices such as vehicles to prevent water, dust, etc. from entering the joint and to prevent grease from flowing out of the joint. refer to Figure 4 and Figure 5 Describe the dust cover involved in the existing example. Figure 4 This is a partially enlarged cross-sectional view of a dust cover according to a conventional example (an enlarged cross-sectional view of a sealing portion). Figure 5 An enlarged view of a part of a ball joint using the dust cover involved in the existing example. [0003] The ball joint includes a ball stud 300 having a spherical portion at one end of the shaft portion 310 and a flange portion 340 at the other end of the shaft portion 310, and a bearing having a spherical portion to a...
