Abstract

The invention relates to a power supply adapter. A power supply adapter that supplies DC power from a power supply device to an electric working machine via a power cord detects a temperature rise (overheating) of a power cord, so that power supplied to the electric working machine can be suppressed. The power supply adapter comprises the following components: the power cord for supplying direct current power from the power supply device to the electric working machine; a power supply mounting portion configured to be attachable to the power supply device and is used for connecting one end ofthe power cord to the power supply device;a working machine mounting portion configured to be attachable to the electric working machine and is used for connecting the other end of the power cord to the electric work machine; a temperature detection unit for detecting the temperature of the power cord; an overheat determination unit that determines overheating of the power cord based on a detection signal from the temperature detection unit and outputs an overheat determination result.
