Abstract

The invention provides application of omeprazole in preparation of a liver cancer stem cell inhibitor. According to the technical scheme, CD133 is used as a molecular marker to sort so as to obtain LCSC cells at first, an animal transplantation tumor model is constructed, and then the inhibition effect of the omeprazole to liver cancer stem cells is inspected. Results show that by application of the omeprazole, proliferation of the LCSC cells can be inhibited directly, and the proliferation rate of solid tumor is reduced; moreover, the liver cancer stem cell inhibitor which contains the omeprazole has certain targeting on LCSC cell inhibition effect, and effect of inhibiting common liver cancer cells is relatively weak; and meanwhile, it further discovers that a certain synergism can be achieved for the inhibitor under the conditions that ingredients such as catechin and ribavirin are added. On the basis of the beneficial discovery, application of the omeprazole in preparation of the liver cancer stem cell inhibitor is determined, therefore, a new way is provided for treatment of tumors of livers, and meanwhile, the medical application range of the omeprazole is expanded.
