[0135]A formulation of taurolidine in an aqueous solution of hyaluronic acid cross-linked with 1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether (BDDE) was prepared. 3 concentrations (1.5%, 3% and 6%) of taurolidine were formulated in aqueous solutions of 3 molecular weights of cross-linked hyaluronic acid: low molecular weight (LMW) 21-40 kDa, medium molecular weight (MMW) 310-450 kDa and high molecular weight (HMW) 750kDa-1.0 MDa.
