Abstract

A tripod self-propelled vehicle control system is used for controlling the movement of a tripod self-propelled vehicle. The control system comprises a driver, a drive control module, a road surface detection module, and a processing module. The drive control module is electrically connected to the driver, and is configured to control the driver to drive the tripod self-propelled vehicle to move ata first preset speed; the road surface detection module is configured to detect a current road surface condition where the tripod self-propelled vehicle moves; the processing module is electrically connected to the drive control module and the road surface detecting module, and is configured to output a corresponding control signal to the drive control module according to the current road surfacecondition so as to keep the tripod self-propelled vehicle to move at the first preset speed. The invention also provides a control method for a tripod self-propelled vehicle. The control system and method of the above-mentioned tripod self-propelled vehicle enable the tripod self-propelled vehicle to automatically adjust the moving speed according to different road gradients to avoid abnormal driving.
