The embodiments of the invention provide a video image processing method and apparatus, an electronic device and a computer readable storage medium, and relates to the technical field of computers. The method comprises the steps of obtaining a video file, wherein the video file includes a first video fragment, the first video fragment includes at least one video frame, and each video frame includes a first timestamp; clustering video frames having same first timestamps in the first video fragment to a same group; determining sequence numbers of video frames in the same group of the first videofragment; and according to the sequence numbers of the video frames in the same group of the first video fragment, first timestamps of the video frames in the same group, and a video frame recordingfrequency of the video file, obtaining second timestamps of the video frames in the same group. According to the technical solutions provided by the embodiments of the invention, the timestamp precision of video frames can be improved.
