Abstract

The disclosure relates to a video stream processing method, a video stream processing device, electronic equipment, and a storage medium. The method comprises the following steps: processing a video stream by a CPU, and transmitting the processed first video stream to a GPU; decoding the first video stream by using the GPU to obtain a second video stream; detecting, by the GPU, the second video stream to obtain a target video frame having a target object; and extracting, by the GPU, feature information of the target object in the target video frame and header information of the target video frame. According to the video stream processing method provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, the video stream is processed by the GPU to obtain the feature information of the target object and the header information of the target video frame so as to fully utilize the performance of the GPU, and the feature information of the target object and the header information of the target video frameare sent to the CPU, thereby reducing the communication pressure between the GPU and the CPU, saving CPU resources, and improving the processing efficiency of the video stream.
