Abstract

The invention belongs to the field of magnetic separation of solid materials. In order to solve the problem that the existing magnetic separation technique is difficult to take account of a separationeffect and processing capacity, the invention provides a dry electromagnetic separation method of magnetic particles in a particle mixture. The method comprises the following steps: one, putting theparticle mixture to be separated into an electromagnetic cylinder, wherein the two ends of the electromagnetic cylinder are closed by non-magnetic material covers; two, intermittently rotating the electromagnetic cylinder in one direction, and applying a shock to the electromagnetic cylinder in the interim of rotation; and three, opening the non-magnetic material cover of one side of the electromagnetic cylinder, overturning the electromagnetic cylinder, pouring out the particles being not attracted by electromagnetic force of the electromagnetic cylinder in the electromagnetic cylinder, and thus separating out non-magnetic particles. The dry electromagnetic separation method takes account of the separation effect and the processing capacity, the processing capacity can be up to 100kg, andthe good separation effect can be obtained.
