The method comprises the steps of receiving a signal enhancement request; determining whether an enhancement condition is satisfied; and enhancing the signal when the enhancement condition is satisfied. The signal enhancement method provided by the embodiment of the present invention provides a signal relay function for a communication terminal. When a mobile terminal has a weak signal and thus sends a signal enhancement request to the communication terminal, the communication terminal enters a signal relay mode so as to serve as a signal relay to enhance the signal for the mobile terminal, thereby ensuring the communication quality of the mobile terminal, solving the technical problem that the mobile terminal has poor communication quality when having the weak signal, ensuring normal communication of a user when the signal is weak, and improving user experience.
