Abstract

The invention discloses a device and method for measuring an incomplete outer arc radius of a rotary workpiece. The method comprises the following steps of: placing an arc surface of an arc workpieceto be tested in a reference plane; respectively placing a detection cylinder at two sides of the arc workpiece to be tested; contacting the surfaces of two test cylinders with the surface of the workpiece to be tested; having the surfaces of the two detection cylinders on the same plane as the surface of the workpiece to be tested; measuring the distance between the two detection cylinders to obtain the distance from one of the detection cylinder centers and the arc workpiece center to be tested to a vertical line of a reference plane; and obtaining a radius value of a circular arc surface ofthe arc workpiece to be tested by using the Pythagorean theorem of the symmetrical triangle. The method is simple and fast, can obtain accurate data, solves the problem of the outer arc detection of the rotary body, and improves the detection efficiency, which is a measurement method with convenient operation and low cost, and has extremely fast reliability.
