According to the exhaust purification device, a variable-power electric heater is additionally arranged at the front end of a PNA; and an ECU controls a variable air filter electric heater to heat exhaust gas according to test data of temperature sensors on the upstream andthe downstream of the PNA and controls the power of the variable-power electric heater, so that the temperature of the exhaust gas is continuously kept at the peak temperature of NOx stored in the PNA. Correspondingly, the exhaust purification control method comprises the steps of judging whether an engine is located at a cold start working condition or a low temperature working condition or not;if the engine is located at the cold start working condition or the low temperature working condition, judging whether the inner temperature of the PNA is smaller than the peak temperature of the NOxstored in the PNA or not; and if the inner temperature of the PNA is smaller than the peak temperature of the NOx stored in the PNA, indicating that the exhaust gas needs to be heat, and using the ECU for controlling the variable-power heater to heat the PNA, so that the inner temperature of the PNA is kept at the peak temperature of the NOx stored in the PNA, the storage efficiency of the PNA isfurther improved, and the NOx emission is reduced.
