The network automation management method comprises the following steps: building an abstract network model, wherein the abstract network model at least comprises correlation among a port model, a switch model and one or multiple network equipment models; building a basic information model library, wherein the basic information model library comprises multiple network configuration models, each network configuration model accords with the abstract network model, and each network configuration model comprises port information of the port model, network equipment information of one or multiple network equipment models and a switch identification of the switch model; and receiving switch configuration request data. The method provided by the invention can generate issued configuration content according to the correlation among the models, so that correct configuration can be automatically issued onto a switch, the configuration is issued as required, and manual intervention does not need to be performed, so that network operation and maintenance efficiency is improved, and human cost is saved.
