Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of tea garden plant protection, particularly relates to application of cajuput essential oil in preventing and controlling tea geometrid and further provides a synergistic pesticide composition containing the cajuput essential oil. The synergistic pesticide composition is composed of the cajuput essential oil and Kung Fu according to a proportion of 9-1:1-9. The inventor intensively studies activity of various plant essential oils to tea geometrid and effect of a compound of the essential oil and the pesticide Kung Fu on preventing and controlling tea geometrid, and experiment results find that the cajuput essential oil and a compound composition thereof have good prevention and control effect on tea geometrid. A theoretic basis is provided fordeveloping the cajuput essential oil into new pesticide.
