Abstract

The invention discloses an ethylene oxide sterilization process, comprising the following steps: 1) anti-explosion pretreatment; 2) sterilization treatment: first filling a sterilization cabinet withgaseous ethylene oxide, and then filling nitrogen gas into the sterilization cabinet, while turning on the gas circulation system of the sterilization cabinet, so that the gas in the cabinet is uniformly distributed, and a to-be-sterilized product stands in the sterilization cabinet for 5-8 hours continuously; 3) sterilization post-treatment. In the above manner, the pre-explosion treatment is adopted to replace the oxygen gas in the sterilization cabinet to ensure that the ethylene oxide gas is out of an explosion limit; in the sterilization process, the gaseous ethylene oxide is filled withnitrogen gas and gas flows in a circulation manner via the gas circulation system, so that ethylene oxide can penetrate into a product better to improve sterilization effect; after sterilization, nitrogen cleaning and air cleaning are performed to remove the ethylene oxide gas in the cabinet, to avoid gas volatilization to affect the health of operators or an explosion caused by oxygen gas contactwith naked light during opening of the cabinet, capable of significantly improving the safety of sterilization of ethylene oxide.
