Abstract

The present invention provides a multilayer capacitor, its manufacturing method and a board having the multilayer capacitor. The multilayer capacitor includes: a capacitor body including an active region including a plurality of capacitors alternately exposed through opposite end surfaces of the capacitor body in a length direction, and upper and lower cover regions, respectively. A first internal electrode and a plurality of second internal electrodes, the upper covering area and the lower covering area are respectively provided on the upper surface and the lower surface of the active area; and the first external electrode and the second external electrode, respectively formed on the opposite end surfaces of the capacitor body in the length direction. The lower footprint of the capacitor body may have a space portion.
