Abstract

The invention discloses a method for obtaining a cross-domain link, and the method comprises the steps that control equipment sends a first message to forwarding equipment in an Internet protocol IP domain, and the first message is used for indicating the forwarding equipment to find equipment adjacent to the forwarding equipment in an optical domain; the control equipment receives a second message from an optical network element in the optical domain, wherein the second message comprises a first identifier, a second identifier and a media access control MAC address of the forwarding equipment; wherein the first identifier is used for identifying the optical network element, the second identifier is used for identifying a port, communicated with the forwarding equipment, on the optical network element, and the optical network element is equipment adjacent to the forwarding equipment in an optical domain; and the control device obtains a cross-domain link between the forwarding device and the optical network element according to the first identifier, the second identifier and the MAC address of the forwarding device.

Description

technical field [0001] The present application relates to the field of communications, and in particular, to a method and apparatus for acquiring a cross-domain link. Background technique [0002] An Internet Protocol (Internet Protocol, IP) backbone network usually includes an IP domain composed of routers and an optical domain composed of wavelength division devices (also called optical network elements). In the process of deploying services on the IP backbone network, the deployed services need to be processed by routers in the IP domain and wavelength division equipment in the optical domain. In the IP backbone network, the controller in the IP domain can only obtain the first link. The first link is a link related to the deployed service in the IP domain. Controllers in the optical domain can only acquire the second link. The second link is a link related to the deployed service in the optical domain. In order to implement the service deployed in the IP backbone net...
