Abstract

The present invention relates to a DNA analysis method and a DNA analysis apparatus using a terahertz wave which are capable of accurately discriminating the type of cancer from DNA by using the terahertz wave. The DNA analysis method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: (a) irradiating methylated DNA with a terahertz wave; (b) detecting a terahertz wave reflected by the methylated DNA; (c) detecting a peak of the waveform of the terahertz wave detected in step (b); and (d) determining the type of cancer from the peak detected in step (c).
