Abstract

The flexible display device comprises a shell, a sliding assembly located on the shell and a flexible assembly located on the sliding assembly, wherein the flexible assembly comprises a first area and a second area which are located on the sliding assembly, and the second area is located in the shell; when the flexible display device performs smallscreen display, the first area is in a display state, and the second area is in a non-display state; when the flexible display device performs large screen display, the sliding assembly makes the second area move to the surface of the sliding assembly from the inner portion of the shell, and the first area and the second area are in display states. The flexible display device has the advantage that a part of a flexible screen is arranged in the shell, so that on the premise of not additionally occupying space, large screen or small screen display can be achieved simultaneously.
