The invention discloses a
blue phase liquid crystal display panel and a
liquid crystal display device. The
blue phase liquid crystal display panel comprises a first substrate, a second substrate and a
blue phase liquid crystal layer positioned between the two substrates, wherein a first
electrode is arranged on the first substrate, a second
electrode is arranged on the second substrate, a plurality of reflecting parts are arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate, and each reflecting part comprises a first reflecting surface and a second reflecting surface. When light emitted by a backlight source radiates to the
liquid crystal display panel, the light is firstly reflected by the first reflecting surface of the reflecting part, the light after the first reflection is radiated to the adjacent reflecting part via the blue phase
liquid crystal layer and secondly reflected by the second reflecting surface of the adjacent reflecting part, when different voltages are applied on the first
electrode and the second electrode, a vertical
electric field is formed between the first electrode and the second electrode, and the blue phase liquid
crystal layer can change the phase of the light passing through the blue phase liquid
crystal layer; when no
voltage exists between the first electrode and the second electrode, the blue phase liquid
crystal layer can not change the phase of the light passing through the liquid crystal layer.
