The method comprises the steps of obtaining outdoor environment temperature ofenvironment where an outdoor unit of an air conditioner is located, and according to the outdoor environment temperature, determining the exhaust target temperature of the compressor; obtaining the starting event of the compressor, and controlling the compressor to run at the initial frequency; detecting the exhaust temperature of the compressor, and determining the temperature rise speed of theexhaust temperature; after the preset compressor adjusting time is achieved, judging whether the temperature rise speed is larger than the preset first speed threshold value or not; if not, increasingthe compressor running frequency to the set frequency value, and returning to execute detection of the exhaust temperature again, and determining of the temperature rise speed until the exhaust temperature is larger than the exhaust target temperature. The running frequency of the compressor can be improved only when the condition that the rising speed of the exhaust temperature is smaller than the first speed threshold value is met, and the oscillating of the running frequency of the compressor can be well avoided.
