Abstract

The embodiment of the application provides a flexible panel and a display device. The flexible panel is divided into a folding area and a non-folding area outside the folding area in a first direction. The flexible panel includes a flexible display module, a first protective layer, and a support plate which are successively stacked. The flexible display module and the support plate are connected to the first protective layer. The first support portion of the support plate is located in the folding region and is close to the outer side of the flexible panel. The thickness of the first support portion is less than that of the rest portion, other than the first support portion, of the support plate. Compared with the prior art, when the first protective layer and an encapsulation layer are bent, the force applied to the portion likely to be damaged is significantly reduced, thereby reducing the damage risk of the first protective layer and the encapsulation layer. Thus, the display devicecan be folded multiple times and has a long service life. In addition, the support plate can still provide a strong restoring force for the display device, thereby reducing the risk of creases in thedisplay device.
