Abstract

The invention provides an active illumination gas imaging detection method and system. The method comprises the steps of: firstly emitting illumination laser to a detection area through a tunable laser, and performing wavelength tuning on the illumination laser; then receiving the illumination laser after a gas in a detection area is absorbed through an infrared CCD to generate infrared image data; judging whether the detection area contains a leakage gas according to an illumination laser parameter and the infrared image data; and when the detection area contains the leakage gas, obtaining the concentration of the leakage gas in the detection area according to calculation. According to the method, gas absorption band laser is applied to active illumination, and the infrared imaging gas detection sensitivity is still high under the condition that the background light is weak. Moreover, wavelength tuning is performed while the wavelength tunable laser is applied to illumination, a gasabsorption peak is scanned, the contrast of gas imaging can be improved, and the gas diffusion range and concentration information are extracted more easily.
