According to the broadband radar waveform generator, a control word calculator is used for calculating frequency control words and phase control words according to different waveforms; a frequency accumulator is adopted for accumulating frequency control words; a phase accumulator is adopted for accumulatingphase control words; the output of the phase accumulator is input into a function lookup table to obtain waveform data; the waveform data is input into a first-in first-out memory for rate conversion, and then output of the first-in first-out memory is input into an interface converter for parallel-serial conversion and single-end to differential conversion; and finally, a conversion result is sent to a digital-to-analog converter, and a broadband radar waveform is output. The method has the advantages that the working bandwidth is large, the waveform can be flexibly configured and the like,resources are saved in a real-time calculation mode, and the method has high application value.
