Test rigs and methods for performing functional tests on a cabin management system (CMS) of a passenger cabin of an aircraft or other mobile platform are disclosed. In some embodiments, a test rig comprises a plurality of components of the CMS functionally integrated in a manner representative of the installation of the components in the passenger cabin; and a framework supporting the functionallyintegrated components.
