Abstract

The invention discloses a typhoon center positioning method based on wind stress disturbance, and relates to the technical field of ocean remote sensing. The method comprises the following steps: selecting a remote sensing image waveband as typhoon center positioning input data; selecting and generating sea-land mask data with corresponding resolution; calculating gradients of the infrared image along the longitude direction and the latitude direction respectively; calculating a sea surface wind field disturbance factor; taking the maximum disturbance factor position of the sea surface wind field as a circle center, taking a set threshold value as a radius, and determining the minimum disturbance factor position in the range as the typhoon center position. Aiming at the problem of sea surface typhoon center positioning, the invention provides a sea surface typhoon center positioning method based on a wind stress disturbance theory, and the position of a typhoon center can be determinedby utilizing a far infrared remote sensing image and combining with the approximate position of a forecast typhoon.
