Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a wind speed prediction method. The method comprises the steps of obtaining wind speed prediction data of a first region at different ground clearances; calculating a surface friction coefficient value corresponding to the first region by using the wind speed prediction data of the first region at different heights from the ground; obtaining the average altitude of the first area; obtaining an average altitude of a second area, wherein the second area is located in the first area; and substituting the wind speed prediction data corresponding to the first area, the average altitude of the first area, the average altitude of the second area and the surface friction coefficient value into an index formula to calculate the wind speed prediction data corresponding to the second area.
