A sheet dispenser system having a roll (4) of sheet material and a housing containing the roll. The roll of sheet material includes a first end (16) with a key (16a), and the housing (6) includes a mounting portion (10) and a support portion (18), the mounting portion (10) being arranged to support a second end portion (18) of the roll. At one end, a support portion (18) is arranged to support a second end (20) of the roll. The mount includes an inclined member (22) pivotally coupled to the housing to define an operative position and a stowed position in which the mount and support are aligned so that the roll is supported in the housing , in the loading position, the mounting portion and the support portion are misaligned to prevent the roll from being supported in the housing. The mounting part includes a blocking device (26), which is movable between a blocking state and a non-blocking state. In the blocking state, the tilting member is prevented from moving from the loading position to the working position. The position moves to the working position. The mounting portion is configured such that the roll is movable between an engaged state in which the key is engaged with the mounting portion and a disengaged state in which the key is disengaged from the mounting portion; such that when the roll moves from the disengaged state to the engaged state , the first end of the roll moves the blocking means to the non-blocking state, thereby allowing the tilting member to move from the loading position to the working position.
