The liquid crystal panel comprises a first substrate and a second substrate which are oppositely arranged, and a waterproof retaining wall and a liquid crystal layer which are arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate; the liquid crystal layer is located in a display area definedby the waterproof retaining wall in a box forming mode. A first alignment film is arranged on the side face, facing the liquid crystal layer, of the first substrate, a second alignment film is arranged on the side face, facing the liquid crystal layer, of the second substrate, and the waterproof retaining wall covers the end side portion of at least one of the first alignment film and the second alignment film. The waterproof retaining wall covers the end side part of the alignment film, and water vapor is prevented from invading the liquid crystal layer by the waterproof retaining wall so that poor display is avoided.
