The control method comprises the stepsof executing a dehumidification instruction, and controlling an air conditioner to run a powerful dehumidification mode according to the environmental temperature; and acquiring the temperature of aninner coil pipe and setting running parameters of the air conditioner according to the temperature of the inner coil pipe. The air conditioner conducts parameter control on the powerful dehumidification mode through the environmental temperature by running the powerful dehumidification mode and realizes quick and efficient adjustment of indoor air humidity. Meanwhile, the running parameters of theair conditioner are set according to the temperature of the inner coil pipe. The situation of possible rapid dropping of the temperature of the inner coil pipe is prevented in the powerful dehumidification process. By controlling the running parameters of the air conditioner according to the temperature of the inner coil pipe, a heat exchanger can be prevented from getting frozen.
