Abstract

The invention discloses an ozone detection method which comprises the following steps: (1) preparing standard solutions with different concentrations of sodium indigo disulfonate, and measuring the absorbance of each standard solution at the wavelength of 610nm by adopting a spectrophotometric method so as to obtain a corresponding standard curve of the concentration-absorbance of sodium indigo disulfonate; (2) collecting to-be-detected gas for 5-20 minutes at the flow rate of 0.2-0.5 L/min under the shading condition by adopting a standard absorption liquid with the indigo blue sodium disulfonate concentration of 24.0-24.5 [mu] g/mL, and then measuring the absorbance of the collected standard absorption liquid at the wavelength of 610 nm by adopting the spectrophotometric method; and (3)substituting the absorbance of the collected standard absorption liquid into the standard curve to calculate the concentration of the sodium indigo disulfonate, and calculating the concentration of the ozone in the to-be-detected gas according to the change of the concentration of the sodium indigo disulfonate in the standard absorption liquid before and after collection. According to the detection method disclosed by the invention, the detection limit and the measurement lower limit of ozone can be effectively reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of chemical detection, and more specifically, to an ozone detection method. Background technique [0002] Ozone, chemical formula O 3 , with a molecular weight of 47.998, is an allotrope of oxygen, a light blue gas with a fishy smell, unstable, and has a high oxidation activity. It is often used as a bleach, deodorant, and air and drinking water sterilizer. Ozone usually exists in the upper atmosphere about 30 kilometers from the ground, which can effectively block ultraviolet rays and protect human health. [0003] Ozone is toxic at lower concentrations, forming ozone pollution. Ozone pollution is a series of primary pollutants including nitrogen oxide gases and volatile organic compounds released by thermal power, steel and cement industries, motor vehicle exhaust, gas stations, etc. (these are the combustion of fossil fuels such as gasoline and coal By-products) Under the action of sunlight and heat, secondary ...
