The anti-reverse-connection protection circuit comprises a first detection unit, a second detection unit and a battery managementsystem. The first detection unit and the second detection unit are electrically connected with an external port of the electrochemical device, and the first detection unit and the second detection unit are used for detecting parameters of the external port; when the external port is electrically connected with external equipment, the first detection unit and the second detection unit respectivelyoutput a first detection signal and a second detection signal to the battery management system according to parameters of the external port. The invention further provides an anti-reverse-connection protection method and an electrochemical device. By detecting the parameters of the external port and respectively outputting the first detection signal and the second detection signal to the battery management system according to the parameters, whether the external port is reversely connected with the external equipment or not is determined; the method has the advantages of being low in cost, high in detection precision, wide in detection range and the like; the safety and stability of the battery can be improved.
