Abstract

The invention discloses a PCIe device chip initialization method capable of reducing time delay, which comprises the following steps: 1, judging a fixed initialization mode according to a level valueof an input control pin, and executing the step 2 if fixed initialization is required; otherwise, executing the step 3; 2, reading the fixed initialization content from the hard connection logic, writing the fixed content into a register and a memory area at a fixed address position in the chip, and completing a fixed initialization process; 3, judging a configurable initialization mode: if configurable initialization is needed, executing the step 4; otherwise, ending the initialization process of the PCIe device chip; and 4, reading a configuration command from an erasable memory outside thechip, analyzing and executing the configuration command, and writing corresponding contents into a register and a memory area at corresponding address positions inside the chip to finish a configurable initialization process.
