According to the invention, the method comprises the steps of carrying out applicability detection on sample data; determining a common factor in the sample data conforming to the applicability preset standard by utilizing a factor analysis method; determining a sample blast furnace comprehensive state index according to the common factor; establishing a blast furnacecomprehensive state index prediction model by utilizing a correlation analysis method and an AdaBoost algorithm according to the sample blast furnace comprehensive state index; inputting to-be-predicted blast furnace production real-time data into the blast furnace comprehensive state index prediction model to obtain predicted blast furnace comprehensive state indexes; according to the predicted blast furnace comprehensive state indexes, the blast furnace comprehensive state is obtained through the blast furnace comprehensive state classification standard, and subjective deviation occurring when the blast furnace comprehensive state is judged according to production experience of field technicians is avoided.
