Embodiment Construction

[0176] In order to facilitate those of ordinary skill in the art to understand and implement the present invention, the present invention will be described in further detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and embodiments. It should be understood that the implementation examples described here are only used to illustrate and explain the present invention, and are not intended to limit this invention.

[0177] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION At the encoding end, firstly, the input video sequence is divided into key frames and remaining frames according to the size of the Group of Picture (GOP). The key frame is coded using the intra-frame coding method of traditional video coding, and the remaining frames after discrete cosine transform (DiscreteCosine Transform, DCT for short) and quantization are compressed by a DAC coder. At the decoding end, the traditional video coding method is used to decode key frames first, and generate auxiliary side informat...

Abstract

The invention proposes a distributed video coding method based on an adaptive interval overlapping factor. At the encoding end, the input video sequence is first divided into key frames and remaining frames according to the size of the image group. The residual image is calculated by using key frames and remaining frames, and the residual image after image segmentation, integer DCT transformation, quantization, and bit-plane ordering is compressed by a DAC encoder. At the decoding end, key frames are firstly used to generate auxiliary side information. Secondly, the DAC decoded data on the bit plane is obtained on the DAC decoder by combining the side information and the related noise model. Finally, the decoded remaining frames are reconstructed and output. By calculating the information entropy of the bit-plane data stream at the codec end of the DVC system separately, and combining with the power function model, the rate control of the codec end of the DVC system can be realized. The advantage of the present invention is that, for videos with different degrees of motion, the adaptive estimation of the overlap factor of the DAC interval can be realized, thereby realizing code rate control.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of distributed video coding, and in particular relates to a distributed video coding method based on an adaptive interval overlapping factor. Background technique [0002] Different from traditional video coding methods, DVC transfers modules with complex operations (such as motion estimation, motion compensation, etc.) from the encoding end to the decoding end. Therefore, it can be applied in scenarios where the computing power, storage space, and power consumption resources of the encoding end are all limited. DVC generally adopts intra-frame coding and inter-frame decoding methods to divide video frames into key frames and remaining frames. Use the traditional video coding method to encode and decode the key frame, and use DVC to realize the encoding and decoding of the remaining frames. [0003] Currently, most DVC schemes use channel coding to code and decode the remaining frames. Although channel co...
