Abstract

The invention provides a stranding machine with a PLC constant tension control system. The machine comprises an unwinding frame; bobbin positioning mechanisms are arranged on the unwinding frame, andthe bobbin positioning mechanisms comprise positioning discs, moving discs and power pieces; and a servo motor is arranged on the unwinding frame, a tension control mechanism is arranged on the unwinding frame, and the tension control mechanism comprises a frequency converter, a tension detector, a rotary encoder and a PLC. According to the machine, during use, the servo motor drives bobbins woundwith cores to rotate in the circumferential direction, and therefore the purpose of active unwinding is achieved; the adaptability of active unwinding is good, the tension is uniform, and the tensionis easy to control; in the process of active unwinding by the servo motor, the tension detector detects the tension of the cores and feeds back the tension to the PLC, the rotary encoder measures therotating speed of the bobbins and feeds back the rotating speed to the PLC, and the PLC adjusts the rotating speed of the servo motor through the frequency converter, and the tension of the cores ischanged; and therefore, the tension of the cores is constant in the process from full coils to shallow coils of coils.
