The method comprises the steps that an installation package of an ambari server comprises dependence of KeepAlived, and based on an instruction for installing the installation package of the ambari server on a first host, the ambari server and the KeepAlived are automatically installed on the first host to serve as the first ambari server and the first keepalived; the method also includes obtaining a target virtual ip address input on an installation interface of the first host, and automatically filling the target virtual ip address into a configuration file of the first KeepAlived to serve as a virtual ip address of the first ambari server; and based on an instruction of installing an installation package of an ambari server on a second host and input on an installation interface of the first host, automatically installing the ambari server and KeepAlived on the second host as a second ambari server and a second KeepAlived, and automatically synchronizing the target virtual ip address to a configuration file of the second KeepAlived to serve as a virtual ip address of the second ambari server.
