no. 1 approach

[0055] figure 1 It is a block diagram showing the configuration of the sound collecting device according to the first embodiment of the present invention.

[0056] figure 1 The illustrated sound collecting device 101 includes a microphone matrix 1 , a sensitivity correction unit 2 , a target sound detection unit 3 , a sensitivity correction control unit (gain control unit) 4 , and a directivity synthesis unit 5 .

[0057] The microphone matrix 1 includes n (n is a natural number) microphone elements 11 , 12 , . . . 1n for converting an acoustic signal into an electric signal. The microphone matrix 1 contains a plurality of microphone elements.

no. 2 approach

[0123] In the first embodiment described above, the target sound detection unit 3 judges whether the output signal of one microphone element is voice or non-voice. In contrast, in the second embodiment, the target sound detection unit further determines whether the target sound is coming from a direction of the target sound determined in advance using the output signals of the plurality of microphone elements.

[0124] Figure 8 It is a block diagram showing the configuration of the sound collecting device according to the second embodiment of the present invention.

[0125] Figure 8 The illustrated sound collecting device 102 includes a microphone array 1 , a sensitivity correction unit 2 , a sensitivity correction control unit 4 , a directivity synthesis unit 5 , and a target sound detection unit 6 . The difference from the sound collecting device 101 of the first embodiment is that output signals from the plurality of microphone elements 11 , 12 , . . . , 1n are input to...

Embodiment approach

[0143] In the first embodiment, since the target voice is determined to be detected when a voice is detected, even if there is a voice speaking from a direction other than the target voice, it is determined that the target voice has been detected, and sensitivity correction is performed. However, in the second embodiment, it is determined that the target sound is detected only when a voice is detected and the target sound is coming from the direction of the target sound. Therefore, the sound collecting device 102 of the second embodiment can perform sensitivity correction using the target sound with higher accuracy than the sound collecting device 101 of the first embodiment.

[0144] Next, the configuration of the target sound direction determination unit in the modified example of the second embodiment will be further described.

Abstract

A sound pickup device includes a plurality of microphone elements, a sensitivity correcting unit that corrects a difference in sensitivity among the microphone elements by multiplying an output signal of each of the microphone elements by a gain, a target sound detecting unit that detects a voice of a speaker as a target sound, a gain control unit that controls the gain based on a result of detecting the target sound, and a directivity synthesizing unit that picks up the target sound in a boosted manner by using the output signals from the microphone elements of which difference in sensitivity is corrected, the target sound coming along a predetermined direction. The gain control unit updates the gain based on the output signals from the microphone elements if the voice of the speaker is detected and does not update the gain if the voice of the speaker is not detected.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a technique for collecting target sound by using a plurality of microphone elements. Background technique [0002] Conventionally, a beamformer is known that uses output signals from at least two microphone elements to control directivity. In addition, there is also a sound pickup device that suppresses surrounding noise by using the beamformer and separates the target sound from the surrounding noise to collect sound. Due to the difference in sensitivity between at least two microphone elements, the noise suppression performance of the beamformer may deteriorate. [0003] For example, Japanese Patent No. 4734070 discloses a beamformer that combines automatic calibration processing and a general sidelobe canceller (hereinafter referred to as GSC (General Sidelobe Canceller)). Japanese Patent No. 4734070 specification discloses to correct a difference in sensitivity among a plurality of microphones by ambient noise. [0004] ...
