Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a secret key updating method, a data decryption method and a digital signature verification method. In the methods, a first secret key is generated after a reference value is subjected to one-way mapping processing of a first processing number of times, and a second secret key is generated after the reference value is subjected to one-way mapping processing of a second processing number of times, wherein the number of second processing times is smaller than the number of first processing times. According to the method, the first secret key is locally stored and used as the main secret key, when a secret key updating instruction is received, one-way mapping processing of the second processing times is carried out on the locally stored reference value, then the second secret key can be generated, the second secret key is used as a new main secret key, and updating of the main secret key can be completed. When information encrypted or signed by the first secret key is received, the first secret key can be obtained after one-way mapping processing is conducted on the second secret key, and then decryption or signature verification is conducted through the first secret key.
