The slow traffic evaluation method comprises the following steps: acquiring slow traffic panoramic image data by using a panoramic camera; preprocessing the slow traffic panoramic image trajectory data; achieving target detection and image segmentation of the slow traffic panoramic image through a deep learning algorithm; acquiring various targets in a slow traffic panoramic image, and acquiring data such as types, positions, lengths, areas, numbers, accuracy and the like of slow traffic facilities; respectively calculating convenient, safe and comfortable indexes for bicycles and pedestrians; calculating comprehensive indexes in a weighted mode for the bicycles and the pedestrians; and performing weighted calculation on a slow traffic comprehensive index, performing optimization adjustment on design, construction and reconstruction of urban slow traffic facilities, and improving urban traffic.
