Abstract

The invention relates to a valve (1) comprising a valve housing (2), at least one piston (3), at least one support element (4), and at least one spring (5), having the following features: the piston (3) and the valve housing (2) are arranged coaxially to each other on an imaginary valve axis (6), said valve axis (6) being oriented in a first axial direction and in a second axial direction opposite the first axial direction; the piston (3) is received in the valve housing (2) in an axially movable manner against the spring force of the spring (5), said spring (5) being supported on the support element (4) at least in the first axial direction and on the piston (3) in the second axial direction; the valve housing (2) is provided with a first opening (8) through which a fluid can flow and which can be closed by a piston base (7) of the piston (3); the valve housing (2) is provided with a second opening (10) which can be at least partly closed by a piston casing (9) of the piston (3) and through which the fluid can flow; and the piston casing (9) extends outwards from the piston base (7) in the axial direction of the support element (4) and surrounds the valve axis (6).
