Abstract

The invention relates to a height measuring sighting telescope capable of converting ultra-long height measurement into horizontal ground length measurement. According to the basic principle, incident light at the highest point of a super-long height object enters a horizontally-arranged mirror surface at an angle of 45 degrees and then is reflected into human eyes at an angle of 45 degrees, and the basic height of the measured object is obtained by measuring the horizontal distance from the center of the horizontal mirror surface to the measured object. Three key points are as follows: 1, a reflecting mirror surface is horizontal; 2, the included angles between the incident channel and the reflecting mirror surface, and the reflecting channel and the reflecting mirror surface are 45 degrees; and 3, drawing cross center lines on the horizontal mirror surface and the vertical circular mirror surfaces on the channel ports at the two ends. During measurement, by moving the mirror body, the highest point of a measured object is enabled to coincide with the centers of the three cross-shaped parts so that a 45-degree accurate light path is ensured; and the sum of the horizontal distance from the center of the cross on the horizontal mirror surface to the measured object and the error distance between the horizontal mirror surface and the bottom of the mirror bracket is equal to the height of the measured object.
