Abstract

The invention discloses an accompanying robot capable of intelligently recognizing expressions. The accompanying robot comprises a machine structure and a control algorithm, wherein the machine structure comprises a base, a body, a head, a camera and a feedback system. The control algorithm comprises the following steps: collecting images of a current scene at a preset time interval to obtain scene images; detecting a face position from the images of the scene and obtaining a face image through coordinate cutting; performing expression recognition on the face image and performing psychological analysis on an expression recognition result to obtain a psychological analysis result; and controlling a feedback system to execute feedback according to the psychological analysis result and a built-in decision scheme. According to the invention, the function of expression recognition is realized in a robot system. The robot can be widely applied to the field of intelligent robots.
